Amplifiers allow the user to increase the volume of their voice (going out) and the callers voice (coming in), the Phones4Less Compatibility Wizard will tell you if an amplifier is needed / advised for your specific telephone system. An answer / release key is also provided as a headset user does not lift and replace the handset for every call. Most units also provide a mute button.
They also allow the use of both the handset and the headset if your phone does not have a seperate headset socket, as does a by-way switch which may be used to provide dual handset and headset use in instances where an amplifier is not required. |
