or "quick disconnect" cords provide the correct interface to connect
to your specific telephone system and they also allow the user to
quickly disconnect, so they can leave their desk but continue wearing
the headset. This can be done mid-call, without cutting the caller
off, so that the user can go to a filing cabinet for instance to retrieve
information and then return to the caller. Cordless headsets of course,
allow a user to move around the room whilst continuing to speak to
